Dunamis Construction Group acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and commit to working collaboratively towards reconciliation and respect for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Delivering high-quality earthmoving projects since 2022

Our Director, Michael Palmer, started the business in 2022 as a sole contractor. Michael brought with him a reputation for highly ethical, professional, and effective service. It was his reputation that saw Dunamis Construction Group grow beyond just Michael in our first year of business.

Today, DCG has a dependable team and a network of contractors we can lean on to service your unique projects. We’re proud of the professionalism in our team and the strong working relationships we’ve built in Western Australia and the rest of Australia.

A name that aligns with our business

Michael chose the name Dunamis to embody the core values of his business. Derived from Greek philosophy, Dunamis signifies power, potential, and ability. In Hebrew, ‘dunamis’ further represents capacity, vigour, strength, and will.

At Dunamis, we strive to uphold these principles, fostering an ethical, professional environment dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes with humility and determination.

Meet our Director, Michael

Michael Palmer, the Founder and Managing Director of Dunamis Construction Group and Wuba Ngurra, has been in the civil industry for more than 18 years. He worked in the civil construction and earthmoving industry from a very young age as an all-rounder plant operator, and as a direct support to the Operations and Project Manager. By age 19, this experience made Michael a natural choice for the position of Works Supervisor.

Michael’s intelligence, innate ability to grasp complex situations, constant thirst for knowledge, high ethical standards and inherent ability to deal with people from all walks of life, fast-tracked him to senior positions at a very young age. Michael assumed the role of Operations Manager / Project Manager in Palmers Civil Construction at the age of 25 and General Manager at the age of 27.

Michael’s reputation for honesty and integrity, coupled with consistency in his outcomes, was recognised by a number of competitor companies, and at 29, Michael became a Contract Manager / Business Unit Manager at Downer EDI (DM Roads).

At the age of 32, Michael realised that the highest growth and lasting positive impact on people and communities can only be achieved if you are running your own business, and so, Dunamis Construction Group was born in April of 2022.

Michael’s success is evident through consistent workflow and his reputation for delivering on time, every time. He ensures that the work his companies produce is of the highest quality and he endeavours to deal with staff, customers, and suppliers ethically and professionally.

Michael’s education at the beginning of his career was majorly practical, however, Michael is now a holder of various licenses and tickets essential for this industry. He has also earned a Diploma in Project Management, and is currently halfway to a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Here for tomorrow. Dunamis is your civil & earthmoving team.
